Suzanne McQueen is an Optometrist and Clinical  Director at Look Opticians, with a career dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate eye care.

Since qualifying in 2007, Suzanne has combined clinical excellence with a warm, patient-focused approach. Having gained the Independent Prescribing (IP) qualification in 2023, Suzanne is able to diagnose and manage a wider range of eye conditions, offering patients a more streamlined and effective level of care.

In her spare time Suzanne is a busy Mum to two active boys. She also enjoys yoga, dancing, swimming and spending time in her garden.

Philip McQueen is an Optometrist and Director at Look Opticians, bringing nearly two decades of experience and leadership to the practice.

Since qualifying in 2007, Philip has built a reputation for clinical excellence and a calm, patient-centred approach.

With an Independent Prescribing (IP) qualification, he is able to diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care without unnecessary delays.

Philip is passionate about staying at the forefront of optical care and leads his team with a focus on quality, innovation, and trust.

Outside the consulting room, Philip enjoys motorcycling, cycling, and spending time with his family. He’s also a keen cook and is always on the lookout for a good coffee spot.

Alex is a registered dispensing optician and director at Look Opticians, committed to helping people find the ideal optical solutions to match their lifestyle. He combines technical expertise with a personal, patient-focused approach to ensure everyone sees – and feels – their best.

He takes a particular interest in staying up to date with the latest advancements in spectacle lens technology. One of his key areas of focus is the evolving treatment of myopia (short-sightedness) in children.

Outside the clinic, Alex enjoys classic films, great coffee, and spending quality time with his partner Lina and their son.
