About Look Opticians

LOOK Opticians has been providing family eyecare and quality eyewear in Erskine since 1986. Originally founded by dispensing Optician Diarmid MacArthur and optometrist Calum McCallum, it is still owned and run by Diarmid and his optometrist wife, Joan, who came to work there in 1992 and married the boss in 1995! Very much part of the local community, Look Opticians had been the sponsor of various local organisations, including youth football teams, and continues to support local schools via donations and work experience. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and most of them have been there longer than they care to remember! The arrival of Joan and Diarmid`s two daughters meant that they were joined in 2001 by optometrist Sharon Scally, who has become a dedicated member of the professional team.

In addition to full vision testing, screening and contact lens services, LOOK Opticians stock one of the most comprehensive and exciting selections of designer spectacle frames in the area. HOWEVER, just because we stock expensive frames doesn`t mean we are expensive!!!
