This takes an enhanced set of measurements, not within the scope of normal manual equipment, and gives what is termed “eyecode”. This means that your lenses are individually made according to how your eyes rotate, how the frame sits on your face and how you hold your head, giving an extremely personalised product. The device can also determine whether you have a tendency to move your head or your eyes when looking to the side, allowing you to select Essilor`s premium lens product, the Varilux Ipseo.

The VisiOffice system also allows a comparison of lens thickness and weight for different materials and can demonstrate how various lenses work, such as Transitions (reacting) lenses and Polarised (anti glare) lenses – it really is “a fantastic piece of kit!”
