The diffusion range of Giorgio Armani is a very bright, modern unisex range.
Lots of chunky square styles, with the “Emporio” logo very much in evidence!

KAREN MILLEN

Nice trendy frames, unusual colours and chunky sides from this Icelandic-based company

ANIMAL

For all the surf dudes out there, this well known range has good, modern styling in keeping with their cool image. There is a nice kids range as well. The brand was started by two “dudes” who kept losing their watches whilst surfing – just as well they didn`t wear specs then.....

JANET REGER

Recently rebranded, this is a beautiful range of frames that are classically styled yet very modern. Not as “brash” as some of the larger Designer names, these frames are less geared to the younger fashion market and most of the range
would be ideal for multifocal lenses.

JOHN ROCHA

A new name to the optical scene, this range of gents frames is very stylish and understated. Darker colours and thicker frames feature here, with the “Rocha”
logo in evidence without being too prominent.

TED BAKER

The first Ted Baker shop opened in Glasgow in 1988 and has since become a global brand, This range of frames is primarily aimed at ladies and has many varied styles and colours, appealing to a wide age group.

MURANO

This is a name only known in the spectacle world, but this small Italian company makes beautiful ladies frames of varying styles that suit all ages. Some of their designs are almost like pieces of jewellery and it is a range that is easily as nice as many of the “brands” well worth investigating.

CARRERA

A really nice range of gents frames with unusual styles and colours. Great for guys looking for something just a little bit different!

BENCH

Another range aimed at the younger market, Bench are well known for their range of jeans and other fashion clothing.

MAX MARA

A classic range of ladies frames, featuring modern styles in slightly larger sizes
that, although fashionable, are still subtle.

MARC JACOBS

Another classic ladies range, a bit “chunkier” with thicker sides and some darker colours.

GIVENCHY

A well known fashion name producing a lovely range of ladies frames, fashionable yet classic in style. Most are ideal for multifocals.

CALVIN KLEIN

A well known American design house (best known, perhaps, for gents underwear...) producing fashionable, stylish frames, not too “way out” and excellent quality.

The “diffusion” brand of Calvin Klein, a great trendy range for under £100.00!

MICHAEL KORS

A high profile American designer (born Karl Anderson), whose clothes have been worn by many celebrities. A lovely range of classic frames with a definite American influence.

NIKE FLEXON

The well known sports brand has teamed up with Flexon, the makers of the
original “bendy” frames, to produce a fashionable range of frames primarily
aimed at gents. Good sizes make them ideal for multifocals.

RADLEY

A real newcomer to the spectacle market, Radley, of course, produce those lovely bags and purses with the little “Scotty dog” on them. By their own admission they “live for making beautiful things” and this is certainly reflected in their range of gorgeous spectacle frames. They have resisted the temptation to use the logo other than very discreetly on the inside of the end-tip and the patterns on the frames mimic those on their bags and purses.

REVLON

Best known for their cosmetics, Revlon produce a range of classic and timeless ladies frames with some lovely larger sizes for those looking for something a little more traditional.

POLICE

This Italian company produces a great range of both ladies and gents fashion frames in slightly larger sizes. Great for multifocals and for the larger gent looking for something a bit more trendy!

SILHOUETTE

Not specifically a designer name but, amongst frame manufacturers, one of the best known ranges. Made in Austria, they are perhaps best known for their range
of ultra light rimless frames, which still have a great appeal for those placing comfort at the top of their requirements.

NINA RICCI

A well known French design house and perfumier. These beautiful, classic frames are ideally suited for varifocal wearers looking for something both stylish and glamorous.

THIERRY MUGLER

Well known for their Angel perfume range, these ladies frames really make a statement. Many feature their trade mark star logo, with bold, thick sides.

FENDI

Beautiful, stylish Italian designed ladies frames, many with gorgeous jewels and stones adorning the sides. Definitely something special.

AUSTIN REED

Better known for fine tailoring, their range of gents frames are sharp and stylish for the well dressed man about town.

CAT

This well known American manufacturer of earth moving machines has lent its name to a range of tough, no-nonsense gents frames. Stylish and chunky, they come in large sizes for big, tough guys!

You won`t have heard of it. It sounds Italian, but isn`t. It isn`t expensive. But it is our best selling “brand”. Why? This range of frames comes in at about £69. The styles are all winners, the quality is great, the colours are all good, what more can we say. You can look great without spending a fortune. But then, if you really want that Armani.........
